We are looking for a Power BI Developer with 5+ years of experience who has hands-on experience integrating Power BI with Databricks to build scalable dashboards and enterprise analytics solutions. The candidate will be responsible for developing data models, reports, and dashboards using Power BI while leveraging Databricks Lakehouse datasets for advanced analytics and reporting.
Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI.
Connect Power BI with Databricks Lakehouse / Databricks SQL endpoints for analytics and reporting.
Design and implement data models, star schemas, and optimized datasets for reporting.
Work with large datasets from Databricks Delta tables and ensure performance optimization.
Write and optimize DAX queries and Power Query transformations.
Collaborate with data engineers and Databricks teams to ensure proper data pipelines and dataset availability.
Implement data governance, security roles, and row-level security (RLS) in Power BI.
Support business stakeholders by translating analytics requirements into dashboards and reports.
Optimize report performance and ensure data refresh reliability and scalability.
Maintain documentation for reports, datasets, and data sources.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience in Power BI development and reporting.
Hands-on experience integrating Power BI with Databricks or cloud data platforms.
Strong expertise in DAX, Power Query, and data modeling techniques.
Experience working with Databricks SQL, Delta Lake, or Lakehouse architecture.
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes.
Experience implementing Power BI security models and performance tuning.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
