We are seeking a SAP BW Monitoring Consultant to work in 24 x 7 shifts with 3–4 years of experience in supporting and monitoring SAP BW systems and data pipelines. The role involves ensuring smooth execution of data loads, process chains, and system performance monitoring, while coordinating with functional and technical teams to resolve issues efficiently.
Monitor SAP BW process chains, data loads, and system jobs to ensure successful execution.
Identify and troubleshoot data load failures, job errors, and performance issues.
Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly batch jobs and data refresh cycles.
Perform basic issue analysis and coordinate with BW developers for resolution.
Maintain system health dashboards and monitoring reports.
Monitor data consistency and reconciliation between SAP source systems and BW.
Support incident management and ticket resolution within defined SLAs.
Document monitoring procedures, recurring issues, and resolution steps.
Work closely with SAP functional teams and basis teams for issue escalation and system stability.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
3–4 years of experience in SAP BW support or monitoring roles.
Familiarity with SAP BW process chains, InfoProviders, and data load monitoring.
Experience using SAP BW monitoring tools and job monitoring dashboards.
Basic understanding of SAP data flows and ETL processes.
Knowledge of incident management tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) is preferred.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and coordination skills.
